Dr. Chris Iannello brings an unparalleled depth of experience in spacecraft and launch vehicle power systems, forged through 35 years of technical leadership across NASA, industry, and academia. He served as NASA’s longest-tenured Technical Fellow for Electrical Power, acting as the agency’s senior-most authority on spacecraft and launch vehicle electrical systems. Over the past decade, Dr. Iannello has been intimately involved in the design, integration, and flight operations of nearly every major spacecraft and launch system in the U.S. civil and commercial space sectors.

Dr. Iannello’s unique insight spans the full landscape of design and manufacturing philosophies—from legacy NASA methodologies to the most current state-of-the-art commercial innovations. He has developed a deep understanding not only of the technologies and architectures in use today, but also of which approaches have succeeded, which have failed, and why.
